HeY, I'm Emily!

Wedding Photographer serving Memphis, TN and beyond!

How on earth can I put into words how much I enjoy my art form?

I'm behind the camera smiling as much as you are!   When I take wedding portraits, I stay cheerful and calm, artistic and principled, confident and accommodating. This is not just a business, nor is it merely a hobby - this is my creative outlet: a way that I imitate my Creative Creator by being a creative creator.

When I'm not holding a camera, I'm usually holding a baby or playdough or a pb&j sandwich, or possibly a combination of the three. My main gig in life is being a family woman. I'm a wife to Preston and a mother to nine of the most delightful children on planet earth.  We love Jesus. We love music. We spend   oodles of time outdoors. We enjoy reading stories and looking at picture books!

Enough about me! How about you?! If you are in need of a wedding photographer in Memphis, let's chat to see if your needs and my services match well.

My approach

When I photograph a wedding, I aim to capture the truth, goodness, and beauty of each moment. I enjoy capturing the details in both the decor and the people - the flowers and smiles, the veil and kisses, the rings and the hands that wear them.

My style produces bright, joyful images of people, and intentional, powerful compositions of all those little details that contribute to the aesthetic of the day.

More about

My Process

I'm an in-person sort of a gal, so we'll consult in-person if possible.

I'm a sanguine, so I'll serve you throughout the whole process with joy and passion.

I'm a blogger, so you'll get a personalized blog post with at least 40 edited images within one week.

I'm an artist, so I do my own editing - I do not outsource it to a robot (yes, that's a thing these days).

I'm a full-time stay-at-home-mom, so I book a limited number of weddings per year.

I'm committed to efficiency and excellence. The longest a client has ever waited for their entire wedding gallery was four weeks (and that spanned two major holidays).
